10 years warranty
DaunenStep products are built to last and to make you sleep well for many years.
We offer an extended 10 years warranty for our down duvets, down quilts and plaids.
This warranty covers any defects that may arise from materials and processing.
How does the warranty work?
Mindful of offering products of the highest quality, we guarantee all down, quilts, and down comforters for 10 years.
Warranty extension is valid only when accompanied by the purchase receipt and online product registration, which must be completed within the first two years from the purchase date indicated on the receipt.
The warranty does not cover:
- product defects caused by improper or lack of maintenance
- product defects generated by natural wear and tear of the product or defects caused by improper use
- "migration" of feathers from one compartment to another (for products packaged in cassettes)
- damages caused by washing and/or drying methods other than those indicated on the label
- as these are natural fillings, the presence of dark flakes (black spots) is not considered a defect
- the presence of down filaments along the seams is considered physiological and determined by the normal settling of the filling.
How to proceed in case of complaint?
If you have a complaint, simply visit your retailer and bring the defective item along with the purchase receipt and confirmation of online product registration.
The retailer will forward the item to us for quality inspection, and we will take care of repair or replacement.
